Welcome everyone to the new…

Welcome everyone to the new o2 for the REST API team! (And hello also to all of the blog followers that we somehow gained. 🙂 )

As I mentioned in my email, I’d like to get weekly office hours/meetings under way soon and start reviewing the work so we can create a timeline. At the moment, I’m thinking Friday at 2100 UTC (0700 Saturday AEST, 1700 Friday EST, 1400 Friday PST), which works pretty well for me, but I’m not sure about you guys. Friday evening might be a bad time for you guys, so let me know if we can pick a better time or date. (The advantage of this one is also that it doesn’t conflict with any other meetings, such as 3.7/3.8 or the other feature teams.)

If it’s at all possible to make the meeting during the week (AEST), that’d be great. I can’t make weekend meetings, especially early mornings, due to baby stuff.

  Thought that might be the case. Assuming we stick with the same time, here’s what the week looks like (UTC; one day after for AEST):
  - Every day: Core at 20:00, UI at 20:00
  - Monday: Mobile at 16:00, Featured Content at 17:00, MP6 at 18:00, Widgets UI at 20:00
  - Tuesday: Devhub at 16:00, Twenty Fourteen at 17:00, THX38 at 18:00, UI at 19:00
  - Wednesday: Accessibility at 19:00, Core (3.7) at 20:00
  - Thursday: SFD at 16:00, Core (3.8) at 18:00, Inline Editing at 20:00, Omnisearch at 22:00
  - Friday: (Saturday for AEST)
  This means we could probably fit any day at 21:00, but only Wednesday at 20:00. Does anyone have any particular preference for a day? (Wednesday (UTC) is probably a no-go for me.)

    I attend the Omnisearch and core meetings too, any other week day is fine for me though.

    I can do 21:00 UTC (or earlier) every day. Later than that, I can’t tuesdays and thursdays.

    Friday was fine with me but so is any other day.
    I think the only meeting we *shouldn’t* conflict with is the Mobile one. I have a feeling the mobile guys will have some things to say about the API.

    Sounds like the best time is 2100 on Monday or Thursday for everyone (though it might be harder to squeeze in depending on how meetings roll on Thursday). Either works for me as well.
